Diagnostic Information For A Range Of Dental Applications

With resolution up to 0.09 mm, the Carestream Dental CS 9300-C System delivers high-quality panoramic, paranasal sinus, temporal bone, and dental cone beam CT(CBCT) images allows you to collect valuable diagnostic information for a range of dental and maxillofacial applications, including endodontics, implantology, orthognathics, orthodontics, and oral and maxillofacial surgery.

ENDODONTICS

• Evaluate endodontic pathosis
• Assess canal morphology
• Assess pathosis of non endodontic orgin
• Analyze root fractures and associated trauma
• Plan surgeries and implants
• Analyze external and internal root resorption and invasive cervical resorption

More Information

PERIODONTICS

• Evaluate bone anatomy and proximity to pertinent anatomical areas
• Analyze furcation involvements and intrabony defect patterns
• Diagnose the extent and significance of tooth and alveolar fractures
• Evaluate bone loss patterns in periodontitis and associated regenerative potential of defect morphology
• Evaluation of pre- and post-operatory bone grafting sites
More Information

ORTHODONTICS

• Evaluate ectopic and impacted teeth
• Assess alveolar ridge shape and volume limitations
• Plan placement of temporary anchorage devices
• Assess temporomandibular joints and occlusion
• Analyze skeletal symmetry
• Design custom appliances
• Assess growth
• Plan orthognathic surgical treatment
More Information

IMPLANTOLOGY

• Take precise measurements using true 1:1 ratio
• Evaluate bone quantity and quality
• Identify, localize, and annotate anatomical obstacles (mandibular canal, sinus)
• Use 3d technology to plan implants
• Improve case acceptance
• Collaborate with referrals
More Information

ORAL & MAXILLOFACIAL SURGERY

• Identify relationships between impacted teeth and vital anatomical structures
• Visualize cysts and periapical lesions
• Define surgical protocol for impacted tooth extractions, cyst removals, or periapical lesion treatments
• Increase case acceptance rates by allowing patients to visualize and fully understand your treatment plan
• Eliminate x-ray development – 2D image acquisition takes 13 seconds

Using cone beam CT technology, the Carestream Dental CS 9300-C offers a range of selectable fields of view (5 x 5 cm to 17 x 13.5 cm), isotropic resolutions (0.09 mm to 0.5 mm), and scan times. In addition, the system’s field of view adjusts automatically—confining radiation to the region of interest to ensure a safer exam for your patients.

With resolution up to 0.09 mm, the Carestream Dental CS 9300-C’s superb image quality allows you to collect valuable diagnostic information for a range of dental and maxillofacial applications, including endodontics, implantology, orthognathics, orthodontics, and oral and maxillofacial surgery.

More Information

Providing anatomical image data similar to MDCT—but with higher definition and at a significantly lower radiation dose—CBCT imaging is the new standard for oral and dental imaging.

The Carestream Dental CS 9300-C’s industry-leading superior isotropic spatial resolution promotes better visualization of sinus structures, sub-millimeter structures at air-bone interfaces, and middle and inner ear components and interfaces—such as the tympanic membrane, ossicles, semicircular canals, mastoid air cells, and cochlea.

More Information

Because the Carestream Dental CS 9300-C system allows technicians to target a precise area for exposure, our patients are exposed to significantly less radiation. The system combines speed, image quality and precision placement to dramatically reduce the occasional need for retakes.

By using less radiation dose than conventional CT scans, our 3D system better helps us adhere to the ALARA Principle – or, “As Low As Reasonably Achievable ” – which we follow to ensure we take every precaution to minimize patient exposure to radiation when obtaining the diagnostic images needed for treatment planning.
